Stuck in 'Preparing Automatic Repair' loop
Windows repeatedly crashes during boot, triggering diagnostic repair which fails and restarts the loop.
Internal desktop parts run on harmless 12V DC voltage and cannot shock you. Simply unplug the wall power cable first, then touch the unpainted metal case frame to ground static electricity.

In Advanced Options → Command Prompt, run: 'bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No' to see the underlying stop code causing crashes.
Restore corrupted registry hives
Navigate to 'C:\Windows\System32\config' in Command Prompt. Check if RegBack contains valid registry backups or use System Restore.
Uninstall recent Windows quality or feature updates
In Recovery Options, select Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Uninstall Updates → Uninstall latest quality update.
Run DISM and SFC offline repair
Execute 'dism /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions' to clear hung update installations.
