Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → Startup apps. Sort by 'Startup impact'. Disable everything except critical audio or security components.
Inspect Startup folder shortcuts
Press Win+R, type 'shell:startup', and delete shortcuts to apps you do not need launching on every power-on.
Clean startup services using MSConfig
Open 'msconfig' → Services tab → check 'Hide all Microsoft services' → uncheck non-essential third-party background services.
Uninstall pre-installed OEM software
Remove bloatware utilities (antivirus trials, bundled browser bars, duplicate power managers) via Apps & Features.
