Open administrative PowerShell and run 'DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup' to remove superseded update components.
Restore Component Store health via Windows Update
Run 'DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth' in PowerShell to pull fresh system binaries directly from Microsoft servers.
Run SFC scannow
Following DISM, run 'sfc /scannow' to replace damaged files on disk with healthy copies from the restored component store.
Perform an in-place Windows repair upgrade
If DISM cannot find source files, download the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool, run Setup.exe, and choose 'Keep personal files and apps'.
