Reboot into motherboard . If visual artifacts, colored lines, or glyphs appear in , the fault is 100% physical hardware (defective VRAM chip or solder joint) and cannot be fixed with software or drivers.
Run OCCT VRAM or MATS memory diagnostic test
Run OCCT VRAM stress test in Windows or boot into NVIDIA MATS/MODS diagnostic environment to determine which specific memory channel (A0, A1, B0, B1) is recording read/write bit errors.
Lower VRAM memory clock by 500MHz
Open MSI Afterburner, reduce Memory Clock slider by -500MHz, and apply. If artifacts disappear, degraded memory chips can no longer maintain factory rated clock frequencies.
Initiate manufacturer warranty RMA replacement
Physical VRAM memory degradation requires professional BGA rework and chip replacement. Contact manufacturer or retailer for warranty replacement.
